We could see the arriving aircraft, flight HV5081 from Rotterdam, touch down on runway 10 at 12:59. The aircraft arrived at gate B28 at four minutes later. The boarding procedure started around 13:30 but we remained at the gate for a while because of additional traffic. Quite a number of charter flights departed this afternoon to Paris because the Irish national football team was to play a qualification match against France. Finally, at 14:24 we were pushed back from the gate and we started taxiing slowly to runway 10 with B737 G-BZZI in front of us. After departure of G-BZZI we had to wait for a Cityjet BAe-146 (EI-CMS) to land. After departure we climbed straight ahead of the Irish Sea, passing the English west coast near Liverpool at 15:20 and the English east coast at 15:35. The descent into Rotterdam took us over the Rotterdam harbour area, turning left for a runway 06 landing.
