Another Basiq Air flight, this time to Dublin. We booked our flight on-line booking through basiqair.com for a return fare (incl all taxes etc.) of EUR 100,46 per person. Our flight was to be carried out by B737 PH-XRW. The aircraft arrived from Stockholm (flight HV 5072) at 11:38. Turnaround was completed quickly as we boarded the plane within 30 minutes via the rear air stairs. The doors were closed and the engines started ten minutes prior to departure time! We taxied to runway 24 for departure and were airborne at 12:25. We could see the Rotterdam city centre just before climbing through a layer of clouds. After passing the Dutch coast line the airplane leveled off for a while. After flying along the Northern Zeeland coast the flight was allowed to climb to cruising level. With a 200 km/h head wind the flight was expected to take about 1:20. Approaching Dublin we passed the coastal city of Howth. The gear was lowered and the airplane touched down at 12:40.
